Idene Serushan graduated Magna Cum laude at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL, earning a B.S. degree in Biology. He then obtained his Master’s in Public Health at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL as well as a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Walden University.

After graduation, Idene worked in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) industry around the Greater Chicago area for 5 years. He first worked at The Alden Network and then BRIA Health Services. It was at the SNFs where Idene developed a passion to assist clinical staff members (on an administration level) and serve others, explicitly senior citizens and/or the most vulnerable population.

To escape the dreaded Chicago cold, Idene moved to Phoenix, AZ in June of 2020. Upon moving to the desert, Idene has worked as a Practice Manager or Administrator in various healthcare settings (internal medicine, outpatient surgery, gastroenterology, etc.), but his absolute favorite is dermatology! Using his postgraduate education, previous work experience, and desire to help people, Idene is ready to work with Dr. Thosani, Dr. Warda and the amazing staff at Modern Dermatology with the goal of supporting patients who have skin conditions.

Outside of work, Idene enjoys spending time with his friends and family, exercising, volunteering with kids, caregiving, reading, watching movies, and sports, specifically baseball and football. He is an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Arizona Cardinals.
